Originally P+R Fire and Security, Parfas began providing security services back in 2000. By 2003 we had opened our own remote video monitoring station which at the time was one of the first purpose built and full accredited monitoring stations in the UK. Over the years the business has grown on these early foundations to provide a full service offering across the UK.
Team
Our team come from the Electronic Security Sector and have many years of experience dealing with a broad range of commercial clients from all sectors. The senior team all come from a background of supporting and growing national and major account customers across the United Kingdom and Europe.
All of our field and monitoring staff are screened & vetted to meet the BS7858 standard.

The Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) is the leading certification body for organisations providing security systems and services, fire detection and alarm systems, telecare systems and services, manned security services and monitoring services.
Parfas accreditations are:
- Monitoring of intruder alarms
- Monitoring of CCTV to BS8418
- Monitoring of Fire Alarms
- Monitoring CCTV systems used in Security applications
- Installation of CCTV
- Installation of Intruder Alarms
The Security Industry Authority is the organisation responsible for regulating the private security industry. They are an independent body reporting to the UK Home Secretary, under the terms of the Private Security Industry Act 2001.
Their two main duties are the compulsory licensing of individuals undertaking designated activities within the private security industry and to manage the voluntary Approved Contractor Scheme, which measures private security suppliers against independently assessed criteria.
All of Parfas monitoring operatives, supervisory and management staff carry full SIA licences
